One of the major challenges is the availability of fresh water over the world. Water desalination can fill the gap by producing a fresh water from the brackish water or the seawater for drinking. Current the conventional Revers Osmosis (RO) has a challenging limit of minimum energy consumption ~ 2-3 kWh/m3 . You can guaranty the quality of water at the water treatment facility, but once it hits the aging and decrepit pipe and plumbing infrastructure, you are on your own. Shipping heavy bottled water from Fiji or Atlanta is no longer sustainable. Plus the world would benefit from less plastic in the oceans.

Project Objectives /Mission

I want to create such Renewable systems in Nigeria to provide green energy possibilities in places that were not viable before. In Nigeria, the electricity production out from the renewable resources we have only from the hydro potential.


To decentralize electricity production : Schools, hospitals and public infrastructures can benefit from having a reliable source of renewable energy, even in remote areas.

My wind turbine aims to support local development: About 120 households can be powered with one of my smallest turbine in remote areas where the yearly energy consumption can sometimes be as low as 400kwh.


To diversify the electricity supply: In long run, diversified electricity supply can improve the efficiency and reliability of the power sector, by lowering the costs and prices.
