Problem Statement
With the increasing share of renewables in the energy market and the associated volatility, battery storage systems are more critical than ever. They play a crucial role in the integration of renewable energies and thus in stabilising the power grid. The ability to arbitrage over time creates a value that sets these assets apart from other flexibilities. Our service delivers a commercially optimized dispatch for battery assets in line with all technical and commercial constraints. Our service is designed to remove all hurdles and work jointly on commercially optimising their assets.

Which benefits would your idea bring to the industry?
To ensure commercial optimization for battery storage diversifying across all possible markets for flexibility is critical to maximizing the revenue streams consistently Currently, we broaden our TaaS for batteries from pure wholesale optimisation to cross-market optimisation (ancillary services & wholesales). enspired’s cross-market optimization service is based on forecasting input that works as an integrated part of the battery trading algorithm. Using high-quality forecasting data, we run simulations for the following business day to determine the asset’s value on different markets separately and with a combined approach too.
To which challenges does your idea provide a solution to?
Ending fossil fuel dependence and tackling climate change - the energy sector's biggest challenges. Geopolitical tensions, uncertainty, grid instabilities and the increased integration of renewable sources into the energy system all while we have to ensure sustainability and security of supply. At enspired, we accelerate the energy transition by helping to create a more decentralised and flexible energy system. Our service allows faster integration of renewable energy sources. We also focus on enabling asset owners to build stable business cases for innovative use cases such as batteries and Virtual Power Plants, which are imperative for a successful energy transition.
